This policy covers the SimpleSoc2 marketing website and enquiries sent to us. Product privacy terms and data-processing information are provided separately before you use the app.

When you visit the website

This website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. The website’s infrastructure processes the technical information needed to deliver a page, such as your IP address and browser request.

If you choose a light or dark theme, your browser stores that preference locally so it can remember your choice. It is not sent to us or used to track you. You can remove it by clearing this site’s browser storage.

When you contact us

“Request access” opens your email app with a suggested message. Nothing is sent until you choose to send the email. We receive your email address, the message and any information you include, such as your name, company, role or preparation plans.

We use this information to respond to your enquiry and discuss access to SimpleSoc2. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us about the product. Please do not include sensitive employee information or device evidence in an access enquiry.

Where information is processed

Our email and infrastructure providers process enquiry and website data in the EU/EEA. We do not transfer that data outside the EU/EEA. Access is limited to the people and providers who need it to operate the website and answer enquiries.

How long we keep enquiries

We delete enquiry emails and contact details once the enquiry is resolved, unless the sender becomes a customer. If you become a customer, the relevant customer privacy terms will explain how information is handled for that relationship.
